For those of you wanting to make a packable Double bit for your camping kit, this is the handle for you!
This handle is perfect to be used with the double-bit stump wood-splitting method if you want to use a full-sized double-bit head instead of a cruiser. Check out the video below for an explanation of that splitting method.
This handle also works as a temporary "stand-in handle" for axe head storage. Lightly hang your double bit on this handle and it will be easier to store safely in an axe rack.
